Is there a natural (non toxic) way to remove mold, mildew, and all the other shower junk
I am looking for a natural (non toxic) method for removing mold, mildew,
and other that other junk from my shower/bath. Any one have any good
(proven) methods?
Norwex EnviroProducts are natural nontoxic ways to clean
everything in ur house. For ur shower junk, you would want the microfiber
cloth, the steel wool scrubber (will remove hard water from shower doors
easily) & the silver sponge (for tile). If it is more serious, there is a
cleaning paste (one lasts well over a year) made of marble flour, chalk &
natural soap & a descaler spray that will wipe out serious lime buildup.
All safe to be used bare handed & without the mask! Let me know if you can not find a consultant.
Vinegar kills mold, mildew and removes soap scum. Dilute it 1
part vinegar 1 part water. Spray it liberally and let it sit for a 20
minutes. Spay more and scrub. Rinse and dry. Or you can make a paste of
vinegar and borax. Apply it and let it sit until it is dry. Then scrub
with a wet sponge or scrub brush. The vinegar smell dissipates as it
dries. Another option is tea tree oil. It also kills mold and mildew.
You can try the helpful hints from this
site:http://safenaturaltips.com/cleaning/index.html
You could start off with bleach. If that does not work try
white vinegar. If you want alot of suds and foam mix white vinegar with
baking soda. Beware of the eruption it will make when you mix these
together~!
